Guest Access And Policies
Guests will enjoy full access to the entire cabin, wrap-around deck, and yard.
The only areas off-limits are the owner’s locked storage room in the hallway, a small locked closet in the primary bedroom, and the garage.
The driveway accommodates a maximum of two vehicles, no street parking is permitted.
In winter months, please be aware that pathways and stairs may be icy. For your safety, snow removal will be arranged for the driveway, stairs, and walkway to the front door when snowfall exceeds 4 inches. A snow shovel and ice-melting pellets are provided for your convenience.
Other Things To Note
Snow chains are required for all vehicles during the winter season. On rare occasions, extreme weather in Big Bear may cause temporary rolling power or internet outages. Rest assured, local crews work quickly to restore service.
Summer
Please note there is no air conditioning. Ceiling fans are installed in every room, and a whole-house fan in the kitchen helps keep the cabin cool. Simply open the doors and windows to enjoy the fresh mountain breeze.
Dogs
We believe dogs are part of the family, so we do not charge an additional pet fee. However, please be honest if you think your pet may not be a good fit for our cabin. Our furnishings are well cared for, and we wish to maintain this level of quality for all guests — human and canine. We truly appreciate our responsible pet owners. Although we are pet-friendly, cleanliness is always our top priority.
Wildlife & Safety
Being in the mountains means you may encounter wildlife or insects. Please use caution and never leave pets or children unattended.
House Rules
Before booking, please review and agree to our House Rules. A signed rental agreement and valid ID are required.
Security
For your safety, there are two motion-activated security cameras on the property: one at the front door and one in the back corner of the yard (with no direct view of private areas). Your privacy is respected at all times.
