Restricted Spaces
To keep essentials organized, a few kitchen cabinets and one side of the guest bedroom closets are reserved for storage and cleaning supplies.
Winter Snow Care
During winter months, driveway and front-path snow removal is arranged when snowfall exceeds 4 inches. Arrival times for snow plow services cannot be guaranteed, but a shovel is provided for your convenience. Pathways can become icy—please use caution. Ice melt is available at both entry doors and in the garage.

Other Things To Note
You’ll find space for two vehicles in front of the garage and one inside the garage. Street parking is not permitted in our neighborhood, and the sloped portion of the driveway can become very icy in winter. Per the city rental permit, the cabin allows a maximum of three vehicles.
Winter Travel
Snow chains are required for all vehicles during winter months. During severe storms, Big Bear may experience occasional rolling power or internet outages—these are typically brief and restored quickly.
Climate Note
Our cabin does not have air conditioning, as Big Bear’s temperatures are naturally cool, even in summer. The home stays comfortable year-round—simply open the windows and let the fresh mountain breeze do the rest.
Dogs
We happily welcome dogs with no pet fee, as we believe they’re part of the family.
Please be mindful of our furnishings and let us know honestly if you have any concerns about your pet’s suitability for the space. Responsible pet owners help us maintain a high level of comfort and cleanliness for every guest.
The yard is fully fenced, but pets and children should never be left unattended. Always keep small animals on a leash after dark—this is the mountains, and wildlife is part of the environment.
Cleaning Standards
Your comfort is our priority. The home and hot tub are thoroughly sanitized between each guest. If anything seems less than perfect, please reach out upon arrival and we will address it immediately.
House Rules & Security
Please review our House Rules prior to booking. A signed rental agreement and ID are required.
For safety and peace of mind, the property has three exterior motion cameras: at the front door, backyard, and driveway. They do not view any private areas and are used solely for guest safety and property protection.
