The Space
Welcome to Poplar Cottage Retreat! Your family will enjoy this centrally-located 1480 sq feet hidden gem nested in a quiet Foxfarm neighborhood. Tucked in the quiet, sought-after Foxfarm neighborhood, you’re just 2–7 minutes from everything — ski resorts, Big Bear Lake, The Village, hiking trails, the zoo, Starbucks, CVS, and grocery stores. Central, convenient, and perfectly peaceful.
Bedrooms
Three beautifully appointed bedrooms sleep up to 7 guests across 5 beds. The master suite features a king bed with a high-end mattress, room-darkening drapes, premium linens, a large closet, a Pack-N-Play for little ones, and direct access to the front deck. The second bedroom offers stylish bunk beds and the third has a cozy queen — all dressed in soft linens, pillows, and warm comforters for chilly mountain nights.
Please note: Big Bear Lake considers infants as part of total occupancy. Maximum 7 guests per booking.
Bathrooms
Two pristine bathrooms, each with a bathtub/shower combo, stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer. Come home from a day of adventure and truly unwind.
Kitchen
A fully stocked kitchen ready for everything from quick snacks to full family feasts. Equipped with a fridge, stove/oven, microwave, crockpot, blender, quality knives, bakeware, cookware, and all the utensils you need. Spices are provided to get you started. Gather around the spacious island for meal prep, then dine under a gorgeous chandelier indoors or head out to the back deck under twinkling string lights. Direct deck access makes indoor-outdoor entertaining effortless.
Living Room
Open-concept and inviting, the living area flows from the kitchen and dining space into a warm, relaxing lounge. Sink into the couch with pillows and blankets by the fireplace, stream your favorites on the 55″ smart TV, set the mood with Alexa, and stay connected with high-speed WiFi. When the mood strikes, pull out one of the many board games or puzzles for a classic family night in.

Guest Access And Policies
The entire cottage is yours for a fully private stay — no shared spaces, just your own mountain escape. The attached garage and large driveway comfortably accommodate up to 3 vehicles, plus a Level 2, 50-amp EV charger is available on-site. A complimentary Annual Adventure Pass is included for parking at the national forest trailheads — just be sure to return it at checkout.
The washer and dryer are available for your use throughout your stay — perfect for longer trips or post-adventure laundry.

Entry is via a keypad code provided before arrival
As required by the City of Big Bear Lake, the property housekeeper will stop by on check-in day to verify that booking details match your government ID
Rental Agreement required at booking.
Maximum 7 guests at all times (infants included per city ordinance)
No smoking anywhere on the property — smoking permitted on the street outside property lines only
No street parking — please use the garage and driveway
Guest count on property must not exceed the number listed on the booking
Other Things To Note
This is the mountains, there is always the possibility of encountering wildlife or insects. Use precautions. Never leave pets or children unattended.
The spa and house are sanitized between each guest. If you see anything not up to standard, notify us immediately upon check-in, and we will send someone directly.
Please review and agree to House Rules prior to booking. A signed rental agreement and ID is required.
There are 3 motion-activated security cameras on the premises. One is at the exterior front door and the others in the rear, corner of yard with no specific view. Your privacy is greatly respected and valued.
